- To support and advise line managers in all matters of employment law especially in relation to performance management, employment contracts and employee relations.
- To work with all managers and staff to ensure best practice and value for money in staff selection, retention, absence monitoring and control and disciplinary and grievance matters.
- To meet regularly with the Board of Directors, bringing all matters of concern to their attention and to seek appropriate advice and guidance as and when required.
- To ensure rigorous selection processes are in place at all times, meeting all legal and regulatory requirements, in order to safeguard the safety and well being of all service users, staff and volunteers.
- To proactively seek and analyse information in respect of recruitment initiatives, staff turnover, sickness absence, etc. and work closely with relevant managers in addressing any matters of concern or areas of improvement.
- To work closely with Board of Directors on drafting policies, procedures, guidelines and various other organisational projects
- To devise and deliver appropriate training/coaching/workshops on all HR matters to line managers and other relevant staff as and when required.
