We are looking to recruit a QA & Environmental engineer to join our existing QA team. Working as part of this diverse, multi-discipline team you will be involved with various projects at different stages.  Main duties will include: -

• Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and improvement of ISO 9000 and ISO 1401 management systems.
• Carrying out internal audits and supplier appraisals.
• Reviewing and compiling certification dossiers.
• Maintenance of the Environmental Registers and associated documents.

Ideally you need to be familiar with ISO 9000 & ISO 1400 with experience of engineering drawings and specifications.  Candidates should have a minimum qualification of ONC or BTEC in Mechanical or Production Engineering.

Liaising first-hand with all Customer and Supplier enquiries, you must have the necessary customer service skills as well as the ability to develop close business relationships.  Effective verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and a Full UK Driving Licence are also essential for this post.
