Candidates will be highly self motivated & innovative, have a proven background & be fully conversant with all aspects of project controls &/or contract management in the fields associated with production, mechanical, electrical & site engineering within a medium sized engineering company, & ideally should educated to HNC/HND/Degree standards.

Applicants should be able to: -

• Demonstrate an understanding & working knowledge of project planning & programming tools, effective cost management (budgets, monitoring, control & reporting)
• Be competent in resource management, commercial awareness, articulate with good interpersonal skills.  An ability to motivate others, ensuring that specifications, programmes & budgets are satisfactorily achieved.
• Validate an understanding of the management of design, detailed engineering, procurement, manufacture & construction works.
• Communicate, liaise & interface well with all levels of customer and company personnel.
• Have an awareness of quality assurance, health, safety & environmental issues & standards.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and a Full UK Driving Licence are also essential for this post.
